OpenTelemetry provides a demo of a microservice-based distributed system that illustrates the implementation of OpenTelemetry in a near real-world environment. The demo provides a realistic example of a distributed system that can be used to demonstrate OpenTelemetry instrumentation and observability.
The OpenTelemetry project has a blog where you can find announcements, troubleshooting guides, and new end-user resources. The project also provides documentation for each language’s API, SDK, and “Getting Started” documentation, which is hosted in each language’s GitHub repository.
The OpenTelemetry project is part of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), and you can find more information on the project’s DevStats, privacy policy, trademark usage, and marketing guidelines on the OpenTelemetry Community page.
