OpenTelemetry.io is the source repository for the OpenTelemetry website, project documentation, and blog. The site is built using Hugo and hosted on Netlify. This project welcomes contributions, including fixes, new content, blog posts, and the addition of new projects to the OpenTelemetry Registry. To get started, review the Contributor’s guide for style and review process information. Newcomers are encouraged to contribute as well, as the website and documentation serve as an entry point for those just starting with OpenTelemetry.

To submit a blog post, follow the guidelines provided. If you’d like to add a project to the OpenTelemetry Registry, refer to the adding to the registry documentation. OpenTelemetry has curated issues with the ‘help wanted’ and ‘good first issue’ labels for those looking to contribute quickly. The OTel Communications SIG meets every two weeks on Monday at 10:00 PT, and meeting notes are available as a public Google doc.
