The Helix Docs project is a documentation site built using Hugo, a static site generator. To get started, users need to have Hugo, Go, Git, and Node installed. To launch the live server, run hugo serve in the terminal. The project also includes a custom light-dark toggle that requires prefixing all colour-related Tailwind classes with hx- for the theme’s colour classes to take effect. The website is hosted by Netlify and is based on the Hextra theme. To update the theme, run hugo mod get -u and hugo mod tidy.
