Building and Starting the GenAI Stack Project
This document provides a step-by-step guide to building and starting the GenAI Stack project.
Prerequisites
Building the Project
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/genai-stack.git cd genai-stack
Build the Docker image:
docker build -t genai-stack .
Starting the Project
Run the Docker container:
docker run -p 5173:5173 genai-stack
This command will:
- Start a container using the
genai-stack
image. - Map port
5173
on the host machine to port5173
inside the container. This allows you to access the application running inside the container from your browser.
- Start a container using the
Access the application: Open your web browser and navigate to
http://localhost:5173
. You should see the GenAI Stack application running.
Additional Notes
- The
Dockerfile
in the project root defines the image build process. - The
genai-stack
image includes all necessary dependencies and configurations for the project. - The
Dockerfile
uses multi-stage builds to optimize the image size.
