Anthias is a digital signage platform specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi. Originally known as Screenly OSE, it was rebranded to clarify the distinction between Anthias (the open-source version) and Screenly (the paid version). Anthias is compatible with various Raspberry Pi models, including the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The installation process offers several options, such as using the Raspberry Pi Imager, balenaHub images, or downloading the disk image from the releases. Anthias is still under development, and users may encounter bugs, which can be reported on the project’s issue tracker or in the Anthias forums.
